Fly to Guwahati. Drive to Bhalukpong (Inner Line Permit check). Night halt.
Bhalukpong → Bomdila
Drive through dense forests. Bomdila Monastery, apple orchards, valley views.
Bomdila → Tawang via Sela
Cross Sela Pass (4,170m). Sela Lake frozen in winter. Jaswant Garh war memorial. Arrive Tawang.
Tawang Monastery
Tawang Gompa — massive 400-year-old monastery. Ani Gompa (nunnery). War Memorial.
Bum La & Madhuri Lake
Permit-required excursion to Bum La Pass (4,700m, Indo-China border) & Madhuri Lake.
Tawang → Dirang
Nuranang Waterfall. Drive to Dirang. Hot spring dip.
Dirang → Guwahati
Long drive back to Guwahati. Night halt.
Departure
